Call for Paper is one of the contests of the 2019 Sharia Economics Celebration (SELEB) event series. This year the SELEB was held with a national scientific writing competition. Sharia Economics Celebration (SELEB) is a competition held for national level students to accommodate students’ thinking related to optimizing the role of millennials through the sharia sector in order to support “Indonesia Gold 2045”. It is expected that the holding of Sharia Economics Celebration (SELEB) can create young people who are sensitive to the development of the surrounding sharia sector so as to create creative ideas that can be a solution in order to support the Indonesia Gold 2045.

Call for Paper is one of the contests of the 2019 Sharia Economics Celebration (SELEB) event which is one of the biggest events held by the Semi-Autonomous Board of Islamic Economics Study Group, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. Activities currently held by Sharia Economics Celebration (SELEB) 2019 include Call for Paper, Video Creative Competition, and Sharia Economics National Olympiad. As the name suggests, Sharia Economics Celebration (SELEB) is a national level event of the Semi-Autonomous Board of Islamic Economics Study Group, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The Call for Paper field invites all students throughout Indonesia to take part in the Scientific Writing Contest by sending papers which will be selected for the best work to be invited to present their Paper Works and to take part in the presentation round at the State University of Jakarta, East Jakarta-DKI Jakarta . This event has a series of events starting on Thursday, October 24, 2019 until Saturday, October 27, 2019.

The participants who participated in the 2019 SELEB Call for Paper came from among others. Gadjah Mada University, Brawijaya University, Gunadharma University, Airlangga University, IAI Tazkia, and University of Indonesia. The delegates of FEB UB who participated in this competition were Mohammad Daffa Pratama, Muhammad Syifa Zam Zami, and Annisa Sasri Anindya. The competition ran noisy and quite challenging because during the presentation session the participants presented various ideas that were very innovative and interesting to implement. HAL-SPACE: Halal-Based Industrial Estate To Promote Economic Acceleration in the Coastal Areas of Indonesia the ideas raised by this team. The event was closed with a talkshow session with the jury but the delegation from FEB UB could not bring any nominations and had to be satisfied as a FINALIST in this event.
