Asia Youth International Model United Nations 2017

As a student, it is important to achieve the best possible achievement, not only in academic terms, but also in softskill. One way to gain achievement in the softskill field is through delegates to enter the competition.

This year, Indonesia Global Network (IGN) held a competition called Asia Youth International Model United Nations. IGN is an NGO and Event Organizer MICE(Meeting,Incentire,Convention,and Exhibition) which was established with the aim of bringing together young people all over the world to cooperate in social movements,business,technology,and culture to get to know each other and bring changes for a better world. This competition is a competition of international Model United Nation which will be followed by various universities around the world. The theme of the competition is “Enhancing Global Power Through Diplomacy And Regional Integration”. The competition starts from 3 November 2017 to 6 November 2017 at Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The purpose and objective of this competition is as a place to channel the ability to speak and express opinions in English and hone the ability to think critically and sensitive to various social problems that occur in the world.

Delegate from Faculty Economics and Business named Jehan Putri Ghazela with major Islamic Economics 2017. Our delegate had followed won the debate competition at both the city and provincial level, so she has excellent debate skills. Hopefully, delegation from FEB UB can make good achievement for Universitas Brawijaya and able to channel her ability to speak and deliver her opinion about the economic problem in English language.
