Brawijaya Accounting Fair 2019

1. Pre-Event (Social Movement: Teaching and Being Taught) Brawijaya accounting fair 2019 aims to have a positive impact on an accountant through a social campaign regarding artificial intelligence, BAF 2019 seeks to provide an accountant with an understanding of the existence of aritificial intelligence to address developments and good potential positive or negative from artificial intelligence, especially in the field of accounting
2. Main Event (National Accounting Seminar)

National Accounting Seminar is a series of intelligence and development of science in the field of accounting, especially to the community. This year’s National Accounting Seminar carries the theme “Development and Potential of Artificial Intelligence in the Field of Accounting in Welcoming the Industrial Era 5.0” The theme was raised due to technological developments in the economic sector in the form of artificial intelligence which became a global use. In Indonesia alone the development of artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence, especially in the field of accounting is still not a serious concern. Which whereas this artificial intelligence has the potential to replace the work done by accountants. For this reason, the National Accounting Seminar aims to enlighten participants to better understand and have new insights related to the issue.

3. Online Preliminary Test

Perliminary Test Online is an initial selection round of the accounting Olympiad competition that can be attended by all accounting students from every university in Indonesia. The 30 Best Teams from each university who have participated in Preliminary Online will then take part in the preliminary phase which will be held in Malang. Reference material for the Preliminary Test Online is taken from the composition of course material Introduction to Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting 1, Intermediate Financial Accounting 2, Intermediate Financial Accounting 3, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Taxation, Advanced Taxation, Investment Management , Financial management

4. Olympiad Accounting

Accounting Olympiad is the top 30 of the best teams that have passed the Preliminary Online Test round conducted in Malang. The 30 best teams from all universities in Indonesia will take 3 rounds to determine the 3 teams with the highest rank as winners. Reference material for Olympiad Accounting is taken from the composition of course material Introduction to Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting 1, Intermediate Financial Accounting 2, Intermediate Financial Accounting 3, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Taxation, Advanced Taxation, Investment Management, Financial management

5. Field Trip

Field Trip is a series of tourist attractions in Malang as a form of refreshing for participants on the sidelines of the Olympiad Accounting activities. This Field Trip brought delegates to the tourist sites of Mount Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Field Trip is also equipped with mini games to hone the general knowledge of participants.

6. Gala Dinner and Awarding Night

The Gala Dinner and Awarding Night is the peak series of the 2019 Brawijaya Accounting Fair. This series is a closing night filled with dinner with delegates which is also filled with the appearance of FEB UB Accounting students, which ended with the announcement of the winner of Accounting Olympiad.
