“Delegation of FEB UB as a Semi-Finalist in the 2019 Accounting Fair”

Delegation of FEB UB in the 2019 Accounting Fair Contest consisting of Icha Marentika (Accounting 2017), Rahmatul Hanik (Accounting 2017), and Aliyatul Himmah (Accounting 2017) departed for Jakarta to participate in a series of competitions, competing with other teams in Jakarta on Wednesday (02 / 10/2019) until Thursday (10/10/2019).

The 2019 Accounting Fair is a series of competitions and competitions in the field of accounting science. This activity is a form of contribution to the development of knowledge and skills of accounting students, with the theme “Gelora Muda Nusantara”. This activity was organized by the Student Association of the Department of Accounting, Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic University, Jakarta. This competition and competition will be attended by students majoring in accounting and economics throughout Java. The event will bring together the top 20 best teams that have been selected as delegates from students in Java to compete in the 2019 Accounting Fair.

On October 2, 2019, the first agenda was the Technical Meeting held in the classroom of the Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The participants listened carefully about all directions given by the committee, which then held questions and answers for the technical competition the next day. The agenda on the second day on October 3, 2019 was the main event held at the faculty of economics and business of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, the first main event which was to work on 10 questions individually for 20 minutes. After that there was a break and ishoma, then 9 best teams were announced to proceed to the quiz round, and the Brawijaya University team was still stalled in the semifinals. The next agenda after careful scrutiny is the presentation round by the 3 best teams. The agenda for the second day was closed with the bestowal that was filled by several performers, such as the band’s performance. At the time of the announcement, 1st place was won by the State Financial Polytechnic Team-STAN Team B, 2nd place was won by the State Financial Polytechnic Team-STAN Team A, and 3rd place was won by Tarumanegara University.
