“Delegation of FEB UB in the 4th GAMASURF 2019”

The 4th GAMASURF event (Gadjah Mada, Sharia Economics and Business Research Festival Festival) is a national-level research festival. In addition there was an essay contest with the theme “Building a Halal Industry in the framework of Promoting the Indonesian Economy”. This activity was organized by the Gadjah Mada University Sharia Economic Forum (SEF UGM) which is an approved forum on Islamic economic studies, discussed to be actively discussed in realizing solutions for global interests. This event was held to improve the research capabilities of students from various universities throughout Indonesia. The purpose of this event is to develop, have capacity, and provide capabilities for students in the field of Islamic economic research; Increasing the potential of students in the field of Islamic economic scholarship through various activities, as well as increasing the active role and idealism of students in the development of Islamic economics both nationally and internationally.

The 4th series of GAMASURF 2019 events were carried out in full starting from the essay from 28 June 2019 to 9 August 2019. Participants who successfully passed the essay, had the opportunity to access the next set of activities with online courses and top events. Online courses will be held from September 16 to October 13, 2019. In online courses participants will be given training or online briefings through the social media network whatsapp. While the top event will be held from November 12 to November 16, 2019, which will be published, Nurture Camp, Research Training, Research Workshop, Group Presentation, and National Sharia Economy Talk Show (SENT).
