Malang – On 28 and 29 April 2018, on Saturday and Sunday, there was a DIY event organized by the Student Association of Management at Lowcal Kitchen & Salad Malang. This event is one of the activities held by the Department of Entrepreneurship & Networking with the aim to introduce a healthy food business and the importance of healthy food itself.
Today, fast food can be found easily. However, based on research results, eating too much fast food is not good for health. HMJM therefore conducts this activity. To socialize the importance of healthy food. “What you eat today is your investment for health in the future” said Mrs. Yessica Hartana as owner of Lowcal Kitchen & Salad. Lowcal Kitchen & Salad is one place that serves salads and other healthy foods.
After the welcome speech from owner of Lowcal Kitchen & Salad, the participants were also allowed to process their own food and accompanied by 2 chefs from Lowcal. On Saturday, the participants were invited to make Avocado Strawberry Salad with Poppy Seed and Coconut Panna Cotta with Fresh Berries. Avocado Strawberry Salad is almost the same as the salad in general but there are additional avocado and strawberry and sesame seeds while Panna Cotta is a dessert that comes from Italy.
And on Sunday, the participants were taught to make the main dish that is Grilled Dory with Lemon Sauce that is in the form of baked fish and smeared lemon sauce. “We the committee really hope friends enjoy this event and can be implemented in everyday life” said Rana Athifah Achyar as Chief Executive of this event.
