Enterpreneur Club 2018

ENTERPRENEUR CLUB 2018 is held in March – December 2018 in the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijya (FEB UB). This activity contains discussions between various kinds of speakers and also students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya themed Entrepreneurship.

According to Drs Joko Untoro that entrepreneurship is a courage to make efforts to meet the needs of life carried out by someone, on the basis of ability by utilizing all the potential that is owned to produce something that is beneficial to himself and others. Entrepreneurial behavior according to Kuncars (2008: 1) is influenced by internal factors and external factors. Internal factors, namely personal skills alone on the 3 most important elements, namely: (1) self-awareness, (2) self-regulation, (3) motivation. External factors, namely social skills related to how we handle a relationship, one’s social skills consist of two most important elements, namely: (1) empathy, (2) social skills

Universitas Brawijaya in realizing World Class Entrepreneur University has great potential, as written in the 2011-2015 UB Strategic Plan there are 3 main pillars that are built by UB as “University Entrepreneurs”. Namely (1) Entrepeneurship Education, (2) Business Incubator, and (3) commercial. Supported by many University of Brawijaya students who have businesses, both those with established businesses, or those who have just started pioneering.

The University of Brawijaya Faculty of Economics and Business is filled with more than 2000 active undergraduate students, of whom there are students who already have a business, are just starting to pioneer, or are willing to have their own business, out of the three events, there are several problems including , how students can develop their business, how students get capital, how students must start their business, and so on.

The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Brawijaya through the Entrepreneur & Networking Department tries to facilitate FEB UB students in developing their businesses, or facilitate those who want to start entrepreneurship with the establishment of an entrepreneurial association of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya, namely the Entrepreneur Club.
