ISLAMIC FESTIVAL 2018

Islamic Festival is an event carried out by Economics Students of the Faculty of Economics, Surabaya State University. This event is an annual event, which is held every year. Isalmic Festival (ISFEST) is an event in which there are several competition activities, namely: National level Islamic Economic Olympiad Competition, banjari competition, da’i competition, calligraphy competition and mtq competition. This activity is a national level activity, so delegates from all over Indonesia can take part in this UIF activity.

This year, the theme raised at the ISFEST event was “Rebuilt of Young Generation With Islamic Intellectuals”. The event was held on October 26-28 2018, which took place at the Faculty of Economics, Surabya State University. In the race branch that we participated in, namely the Islamic Economic Olympiad Competition, in the final stage there were 10 teams who left for Surabaya. In the previous stage, all participants who enrolled in the essay selection were made by the UIF leader, after the selected essay selection were 30 teams that would proceed to the next round, namely the written test allowance session, so that at the end of the preliminary round, 10 best teams were selected with accumulated scores highest. The team is a team from all universities in Indonesia, namely: Gunadarma University, STEI Tazkia, Diponegoro University, Muhammaddiyah University Yogyakarta, State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga, Brawijaya University, and Malang Islamic University. In this competition, the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya sent a delegation team, namely on behalf of Achmad Fauzan Fajar (165020500111045) from the Department of Economics, Naomi Finesha Mauren (165020500111021) from the Department of Economics, and Muhammad Amri Robbani (165020500111013) from the Department of Economics .
