KM FEB DAY 2

Culture that goes to Universitas Brawijaya is different, therefore there must be adaptation and introduction of Universitas Brawijaya especially Faculty of Economics and Business. But not only culture and environment, but institutions that stand in the Faculty of Economics and Business should also be introduced so that academic, interest and talent students can develop, but the development of soft skills is also important because Softskill is a capability that currently becomes very important in the competition of the world of work, because softskill can determine the ability of everyone is able to cooperate, socialize, and organize well or not.

As a form of campus responsibility in facilitating student softskill development, there are various kinds of institutions as a place to hone student softskill. It also exists in the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya, which provides various types of institutions to develop student softskill. To introduce the existence of these institutions to be known by all students, it is necessary to hold a socialization of institutions in an activity called “KM FEB DAY 2”.

This is the background for us in making this event that welcomes and introduces the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya to new students who will become the family of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya.

It takes a process to get to know each other. Through KM FEB DAY 2, it is expected that every new student will be invited to know the Faculty of Economics and Business in Brawijaya University, not only introducing the campus life to introduce new students to every institution standing in the Faculty of Economics and business. KM FEB DAY 2 is the initial provision for all new students of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya. The themes of this activity are “Dwipantara” and “Ark-pelago”. The objective of KM FEB DAY 2 is to introduce the existing institutions in the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya, to socialize the activities, roles, and functions of the existing institutions in the Faculty of Economics and Business Brawijaya University, and to complement the organizing benefits in order softskill student development Faculty of Economics and Business Brawijaya University.

FEB DAY 2 event consists of 2 events, the first held institution standing in Faculty of Economics and Business Brawijaya University held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 07.00 WIB until 17.00 WIB in the middle and lower level Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya and the theme raised in this activity is “Dwipantara” then continued with Umbrellamop where all new students of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya will make FEB 2017 writing using colorful paper.

Then, for the second activity entitled “Ark-pelago” held on Monday and Tuesday, 28 and 29 August 2017 starting at 09.00 am until 16.00 pm in Basement FEB UB. In this activity the participants stand from every institution and new students can directly enter into its participation. Attended by all new students class of 2017 and all institutions that stand in the Faculty of Economics and Business Brawijaya University.
