LPJ EVENT NEWS DELEGATION OF AIRLANGGA ACCOUNTING COMPETITION 2019

Malang – The BAS GOLD team consisting of Saddam Rizky Maulana (Accounting 2018), Nur Wahyuni ​​(Accounting 2018) and Syalaby Elfani (Accounting 2018) were ranked 5 out of 46 teams in the 2019 Airlangga Accounting Competition (KAA) at Airlangga University, Surabaya. The 2019 KAA is a national student level accounting olympiad organized by the Student Association of the Vocational Accounting Department of Airlangga University, Surabaya.

On the first day of October 25, 2019 the event began with registration around 7am. The first day’s event was a national seminar on accounting and continued with a technical meeting until around 5 pm

Then the second day on October 26, 2019, the preliminary round was held at this stage consisting of two sessions: warming up and burning up. Where in this preliminary session 20 best teams will be taken to advance to the next round and the brawijaya bas gold team will be ranked 9th. Furthermore, after being declared advanced to the next stage which is the quarter final round. This final quarter consists of two sessions, namely the cross the word session and find the number, where from this session the 10 best teams will be taken to advance to the next round and the brawijaya bas gold team qualifies for the 7th place.

Then on the third day on October 27, 2019 there was a semifinal stage where in this semifinal there was only one session namely cycle that changes where in this session the best 4 teams would take to advance to the final round and unfortunately the brawijaya team could not qualify by being ranked in the -5.
