OFFICIAL REPORT GEBYAR AKUNTANSI 2019

Gebyar Akuntansi 2019 is a workplan of the Department of Entrepreneurship Student Accounting Department that facilitates students majoring in Accounting who take Entrepreneurship courses to implement it in the real world. The Gebyar Accounting is an event held every year in the Accounting department. This year’s Gebyar Accounting with the theme Creative Technopreneur is an entrepreneurial activity by utilizing the technology that is currently developing and implementing it with creative innovation to be a business opportunity. The emergence of digital platforms that appear today in the form of start-ups is an example for students to utilize technology in entrepreneurship. Not only depends on the theory of entrepreneurship, students also implement it through products that they create themselves and innovate products that have been made by UMKM in Malang.

There are 3 sequence of events in the 2019 Accounting Festival, namely the Business Model Canvas Workshop held on September 28, 2019 in Building F, 7th floor by inviting speakers, Muhammad Ziaelfikar Albaba as Chairman of Malang Station. The second and third series will be held on October 21-22, 2019 in Central Field and Lower Field Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya. In the second and third series we invited speakers namely Galih Dewandharu as CEO of OIA Creative and Harris Kristanto as the owner of Mie Gacoan. This activity is expected to foster entrepreneurial spirit and innovative ideas in the field of entrepreneurship and implement them in the Malang City SMEs. Our main motivation to achieve the success of this event is to bring the good name of the alma mater in every event that is held as well as bring benefits to the parties involved in it. Therefore, we need support from all parties to realize the success of the Gebyar Akuntansi 2019.
