Dean Inauguration, Realize the Performance Manifestation of the Institution

Monday (5/Jun/2017); Gathered at Samantha Krida Building Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Rector of Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Prof Dr Ir Moh Bisri MS inaugurated the Dean of four faculties and Echelon III & IV Officials. Inaugurated to reappoint as the Dean of Faculty of Engineering (FT) UB period 2017-2021 is Dr Ir Pitojo Tri Juwono MT.

Witnessed by all Vice Rectors, Senate, Deans, Vices Dean, and Echelon III & IV officials in UB, the other three deans who took the oath with Dr Pitojo this morning are Nurkholis SE MBus as the Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Prof. Dr. Bambang Supriyono MS from Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA), and Dr Ir Happy Nursyam MS from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK).

The inauguration ceremony was opened by singing the Indonesian National Anthem, followed by the reading of the Qur’an and the reading of the Rector’s decree on the appointment of the official concerned. The event then continued with the oath taking and the decree signing, followed by reading the words of inauguration and speech by the UB Rector before finally closed with prayer.

In his speech, the Rector expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation for their dedication so far. He also hopes that newly appointed officials can manifest the performance of the university in meeting the expectations of the community.

“The meaning of this inauguration is as a manifestation of strengthening the development and empowerment of self potential, that your appointment in this position is because of the capabilities and achievements that have been achieved. Run this trust with your very best effort and full of responsibility,” he advised.

The event was then closed with a prayer and continued by congratulate the new appointed officials by UB Rector and Wife followed by the other attendee. Congratulations on the mandate and the new task, have a good work, together we do the best! (mic)
