Research Activities
Research activities are part of Tridharma, and research activities also become a very important part in the development process of education and teaching. Funded research activities PNBP-FEB during the fiscal year 2008/2009 to 2012/2013 financial year showed a fairly good progress. In fiscal year 2008/2009 as many as 34 titles; 2009/2010 financial year a number of 29 titles; fiscal year 2010/2011 a total of 30 titles; fiscal year 2011/2012 as many as 57 titles and the fiscal year 2012/2013 as many as 45 titles. On average each title researchers involved about 3 people lecturer / lecturer.
Community Services
In the implementation of community service activities realized in the form of activities such as: training, community services for business consulting, entrepreneurship development programs, and real work profession (KKNP) and action research through better cooperation with government and private agencies. Community service to the public-funded source of Tax State Revenue (non-tax) and some foreign funding UB through a program of cooperation with government and private agencies.

Community service activities funded by non-tax-FEB in fiscal year 2008/2009 a total of 18 titles; 2009/2010 financial year a number of 21 titles; 2010/2011 financial year a number of 17 titles; fiscal year 2011/2012 as many as 57 titles and fiscal year 2012/2013 a total of 33 titles. The average member of the community service program each title involves approximately 3 to 4 people lecturer/lecturer.
