Pentas Tunggal Economist Goes To Opera

Pentas Tunggal is a program of Teater EGO held once a year. The existence og Teater EGO as a from of presentation from Teater EGO to the Faculty of Economics & Bussines Brawijaya University and Indonesia culture. The stage will be held on 21 October t 2017 at 19.00-21.00 WIB  located in Building D 3rd floor of Faculty of Economic & Bussines Brawijaya University.

In the process of Pentas Tunggal so many thingd that must be prepared both in the form of physical and mental. The actors and crew always practicing to improve their ability and create a good show concept. And then Publications, costume, stage properties and make up are a important thing to build a succes performance. At the Pentas Tunggal, Teater EGO bring the script titled Mega-Mega by Arifin C.. Noer. This Script was previously performed by Teater EGO in Java Teater contest at Surabaya University last March. Mega-Mega script take the backgorund of the city of Jogja during the time of President Suharto’s regime. From the corner of  the Jogja city depicted a piece of unlimited dreams in the midst of life at the time. Above a sky, they hanger all hope for a better life. Human always fell a lost but they never ever got anything.

This Script be played with six actors to represent every character (Mae, Retno, Tukijan, Panut, Hamung and Koyal) and will last for one hour. Pentas Tunggal can be seen with buying a tickets worth Rp 10,000 that can be purchased at the vanue (on the spot) or online at our official account.
