SCHOOL OF ISLAMIC ECONOMICS (SISMIC)

School of Islamic Economics is a series pf events organized by one of the institutions in the Student Activity Unit of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Brawijaya University wich name is Center of Islamic Economic Economic Studies (CIES). This routine study took the theme of “Building Integrity to Improve Scientific Capacity of Robbani Economics” in hopes of becoming the answer to the constraints in CIES organization on the need for qualified human resources in the field of Islamic Economics, which was conducted through the study of Islamic economics in a comprehensive manner with the help of professional speakers in the field. The purpose of this SISMIC is to facilitate Cadres CIES in terms of science through routine assessment with the help of tentor people who are more qualified.

            In SISMIC, divided into two forms, the first designated to the mentor which form the delivery of material. Submission of materials will be delivered by people who are considered already experts in their fields, both from lecturers, alumni of CIES and students. And the second, is the form of small group discussion (SGD).In here, CIESer are formed into groups of 5-8 people, a group of SISMIC will be supervised by one mentor. As for SISMIC material derived from the syllabus that has been determined from FoSSEI, will also discuss issues that were warm at the time.

The first form, namely Mentor Development is held every Saturday, starting on March 5, 2018 at 07.30 to 10.00 pm which is located in Student Activity Unit, Faculty of Economics and Business, Brawijaya University. As for the second form, SGD time is not specified or conditional. The time is adjusted between the mentor and the CIESer of his group. To target participants from SISMIC itself is the active CIESer of 2018 CIES FEB UB.
