STUDENT CHOIR DELEGATION FOR KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL CHOIR COMPETITION FACULTY OF ECONOMIC AND BUSINESS BRAWIJAYA UNIVERSITY JUNE 2019

Brawijaya Economic Choir (BEC) is one of the Semi Autonomous Institutions (LSO) in the Faculty of Economics and Business which is engaged in choir. The desire to develop abilities to be a better choir was an inspiration for Brawijaya Economic Choir to participate on Kuala Lumpur International Choir Competition (KLICC) 2019.

Brawijaya Economic Choir has 20 team members from various classes, starting from the 2015-2018 class and conductor, Anton Mulyono Sianipar with very mature preparations from the beginning of February until the competition was held, Although there were challenges in the participation of team members, the committee worked very well to get the team members. The competition was held on 28-30 June 2019 with participants from various countries. Brawijaya Economic Choir participated in only one category, namely the Open Category held on June 30, 2019 at the Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan (ASWARA) Building, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In this competition, Brawijaya Economic Choir won the 1st Runner Up in the Open Category by presenting the songs “Grace Before Sleep & Cikala Le Pong” in the Awarding & Ceremony Closing of KLICC 2019.

Brawijaya Economic Choir flooded with happy crying because Alhamdulillah with months of hard work on our practice can pay off. May God always support and bless for what we have done, and see the struggle of our practice. Thank you for the prayers and support from the Faculty of Economics and Business.
