This event was held in order to develop creativity and the role of Indonesian youth who are young people with high fighting spirit. The event took the theme “The Role of Youth in Making Sharia the Basis for Developing the Economy in Indonesia”. According to data released by the Pew Research Center (2017), Islam is the second largest religion adopted by all world populations. Where the total population of the Muslim population is 1.8 million, equivalent to 24.1% of the world’s population. The majority of Islam is dominant in Central Asian countries, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Sahara Peninsula. Indonesia is one of them. This is an opportunity as well as a challenge on how to develop a potential to be able to improve the Indonesian economy in line with the needs of Muslims based on sharia.
We hope that the HARLAH EKIS III 2019 activities with various innovations from the young generation will contribute innovative and creative ideas by giving an impact to Indonesia going forward to build Indonesia in the future. The innovation and creativity of the nation’s children in their work will help Indonesia become a country that is able to compete in the outside world.
