The strengthening and formation of softskill in the field of Islamic-based entrepreneurship is essential for a Muslim entrepreneur, where in managing a business it requires leadership, managing and managing well for their business. Therefore, they really need the media to develop their potentials and hone the ability in doing business in accordance with Islamic shari’ah that is based on Al-Quran and As-Sunnah.
Therefore various forms of training and self-development should always be done continuously. So this is the background for us to hold activities (Muslim Entrepreneur Club) with the theme of Inspire the young moslem with sociopreneur. This activity is expected to increase the spirit and inspire young generation of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya (FEB UB) in the field of entrepreneurship. So it can be the momentum of Muslim students FEB UB to improve the contribution to the social life of Indonesian society in the future.
On April 30, 2017 Forstilling (Forum for Islamic and Environmental Studies) and CIES (Center Of Islamic Economic Studies) conducted MEC activities in Hall Building D Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya. The event started with the gathering of the committee and continued with the briefing until 08.00 WIB. After that continued with open gate and registration of participants, then the opening of the event at 09.00 pm. The first material was delivered by Ustadz Muhammad Yassir, LC who is the secretary of Ahwal Syakhsiyyah Prodi STDI Imam Syafi’i Jember with the content of the introduction of sociopreneur in Islamic perspective. Furthermore, the second material presented by the Team of the Community of Businessmen without Riba with the content of the material is how to become a Muslim sociopreneur. After the material is finished, proceed with the closing of the event at 15.00 pm.
