The Workshop of Academic Writing activity with the theme Academic Workshop for Journal Publication is an activity carried out by the Graduate Students Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business. This activity aims to provide training on research writing for FEB UB Masters and Doctoral students, consisting of Department of Economics, Accounting and Management. Hopefully, this activity is able to facilitate and guide the participants, master and doctoral students of FEB UB, to be able to conduct quality research writing that is relevant for publication. Furthermore, it can also provide an overview and understanding ofjournal publications.

The schedule of this activity will be held on 02 and 04 November 2018. The target number of participants is as many as 100 people. Overall, this activity starts at 8:30 until 16:00 WIB. On Friday, November 2, 2018, this activity was specifically made with a seminar model for general material related to Academic Writing which will take place in the 3rd Floor Main Building Hall of FEB UB. On Sunday, November 4, 2018, it will be divided into two sessions, namely quantitative and qualitative research class. Quantitative classes are divided into departments, namely economics, accounting and management, while qualitative classes are merged into all majors. Per target class is 25 people. For the quantitative research methodology class, it starts in the morning until noon, while the qualitative research class is from for the whole afternoon.

The speakers during this activity are FEB UB lecturers, they are: Ms. Yeney Widya P., DBA., Ak., CA., Mr. Drs. Imam Subekti, S.E., Ak., CA., M.sc., PhD, Mr. Ananda sabil, S.E., M.Com., Ph.D, Mr. Devanto Shasta P., S.E., M.Sc. and Mr. Prof. Iwan Triyuwono, S.E., Ak., M.Sc., Ph.D. With a target of 100 participants. The material to be provided during the event is Difference between Writing Research and Other Writings, Introduction about Writing, Theoretical Framework and Conclusion, Citation, Plagiarism, Academic Writing Research and even Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methodology.
