International Conference of Indonesia Development (ICID 2019) is an activity in the form of scientific writing competitions and international level conferences which in 2019 is a work program of the Indonesian Student Association in the Netherlands precisely in the City of Rotterdam and takes the theme of “Inclusive Development in Facing Industry 4.0: Opportunities and Challenges “.
The holding of the 2019 ICID activity aims to provide an understanding of the development of the Indonesian state in the industrial 4.0 era. Not only focusing on one sector such as the economy, but politics, social, culture, and even technology has an important role in contributing to the development of Indonesia. This event also aims as a means to develop the interests of students and society to apply the knowledge and experience gained from the competition so as to improve the nation’s intellect.
ICID will be held on 19 to 21 September 2019 at Erasmus University, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The first day was opened by the appearance of the PPI-Dutch committee and inspirational speech by Jusuf Kalla as Vice President of Indonesia. The second day was filled with welcoming speech by Erasmus University Rector, Keynote speaker by the Ministry of Finance Mr. Bambang Brodjonegoro, plenary session, and also LKTI presentation of Finalists in Erasmus University Law Faculty Building, both orally and poster. The third day was followed by a keynote speaker by Mr Ridwan Kamil, Mr Nurdin Abdullah, and also the Creative Economy Agency and continued oral participant presentations and also posters as well as discussions with the Indonesian Embassy in the Netherlands, closing, and also awarding. ICID 2019 participants will come from students from all universities in Indonesia and outside Indonesia, such as from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, etc. and also independent researchers from various regions.
