ISLAMIC FESTIVAL 2019

The Islamic Festival event is an event that is packaged in a conducive Islamic atmosphere so that it is expected to be able to increase the love of Islamic culture, intellectuals, and Islamic solidarity and to form a solutive and innovative Islamic young generation. The Islamic festival will be held for 2 days with the theme “Awakening Islamic Glory through Solutive and Innovative Youth with Islamic Characteristics in the Era of Distruption” with Student level participants throughout Indonesia from Islamic economic competition. Competitions are not only designed and carried out by the committee because of a routine, but this is a form of actualization of Islamic values.

The National Islamic Economic Competition is a series of events from the Islamic Festival, this competition is intended for students with undergraduate/Associate Degree in all tertiary institutions in Indonesia both state and private tertiary institutions. The theme of the Islamic Economics Competition in 2019 is “The Contribution of Islamic Economics in Inaguration of Industrial Halal in the Era of Financial Technology.”

Islamic Economic Competition series of events held on Friday, October 25, 2019 until the day of Sunday, October 27, 2019. On Friday held a technical meeting to discuss the technical competition. Previously, online essay selection was conducted first. Then announced 12 teams that qualify for the semifinals. Next, a written test was held on the spot, debating the Islamic economics, then from the three series the top 6 were selected for the finals. In the final, the 6 teams that passed, presented their essays.

In the 2019 National Islamic Festival Islamic Economic Competition, Brawijaya University sent a delegation team from the Faculty of Economics and Business from the 2018 Islamic Economics Study Program. The team consisted of Muhammad Syauqy Alghifary (NIM 185020507111017), Dzuliyati Kadji (NIM 185020500111033), Dina Nur Syifa (NIM 185020507111015). The expectation of participants in this competition is none other than the name of the Faculty of economics and business of the Brawijaya University. In this Islamic Economic Competition, the delegation team of Brawijaya University won 1st place with the highest score accumulation from the whole series of competitions.
