OPEN HOUSE KM

The culture brought in by new students to Brawijaya University differs from the culture in Universitas Brawijaya itself, therefore it is necessary to have adaptation and introduction to the culture of Universitas Brawijaya, especially the Faculty of Economics and Business. Not only culture and environment, institutions in the Faculty of Economics and Business must also be introduced to students so that their academic, interests and talents can develop, but the development of soft skills is equally important.

The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya through the Public Relations Department tries to provide facilities to new students to get to know more about culture and student organizations FEB UB through an activity called “Open House KM”. This is what underlies us in making this event that is welcoming and introducing the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya to new students who will become a family of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Brawijaya.

 This year’s Open House KM carries the theme “Treasure Hunt in The Ancient World”, while the purpose of this activity is the creation of new student participation in LO, LSO, and communities in FEB UB as well as the growth of Korean souls in new students. In addition, the KM Open House can also be a media for LO, LSO, and the community to regenerate.

The KM 2019 Open House consists of two series, namely the KM Meeting and the Expo Institute. The KM meeting will be held at the Pertamina Sports Hall, Universitas Brawijaya on Sunday, August 18, 2019. In this first series, there will be performances from all LOs, LSOs, and communities in FEB UB to introduce each institution to new students. In addition, there will also be a class of projects that can enhance cooperation and health in new students.

The second series, the Expo Institution will be held for two days, on Monday and Tuesday, 19 and 20 August 2019 in the middle field and field below FEB UB. Each LO, LSO, and community will be provided with a stand which is a place for meeting institutions with new students who ask further questions about the institution or those who wish to register. In addition to the institution’s stand, there will also be several game stands.

The committee’s big hope is that this event can go according to what was planned beforehand. Support and cooperation from all parties is expected so that this event will run successfully. Amen.
