Perjalanan Majalah dan Tabloid Indikator

Perjalanan Majalah dan Tabloid Indikator is the process of working on the Indicator Tabloid Magazine which is held annually by Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa Indikator Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Brawijaya (LPM Indikator FEB UB). After our golden year child was born, then we plan to publish a regular magazine in this 51st edition. The Indikator’s Magazine has four major reports with populist economic problems as the theme of its main report. Not only that, the Indicator LPM also plans to issue Indimaknews Tabloid which has two large reports in it. Both of our products have a goal to fulfill the information of the academic community of FEB UB, Malang city, and nationally. Magazine products have a wider scope, namely national, while Tabloid Indimaknews is aimed specifically at Malang city. In addition to fulfilling information, our products also aim to empower the academic community of FEB UB to participate in contributing thoughts and writing through the rubric that we have provided. We open the rubric with an open tender system consisting of rubrics of accounts, business, actual, free stands, opinions, and so on.

In addition to the open tender system rubric, the Magazine rubric is done by all members of the LPM Indikator. The work process is carried out on several stages that have been determined by the LPM Indikator, namely editorial management. Editorial management consists of extracting ideas, TORs (outlines, draft questions, target operations), reportage, writing, editing, layouts, checking displays, printing, and publishing. At present, the process of carrying out large reports of Magazines and Tabloids is entering the stage of extracting ideas. In the stage of extracting ideas, we collect both primary and secondary data according to the fulfillment of the theme needs to be proposed. Primary data collection is carried out directly to the resource persons who feel capable in accordance with the field of work being done. Considering the scope of Indicator Magazine is national and Indimaknews Tabloid which is Malang city, the data search process was carried out from various regions, such as Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Solo, Jakarta, and Bandung.

Not only the process, the cultivation timeline has also been established. We are targeting Indimaknews Tabloid products to be published on May 19, 2019 and Indikator Magazine on August 10, 2019. We hope that these magazines and tabloids can be published on time and reach the readers’ hands, especially the academic community of FEB UB. In addition, we also expect the support and contribution of the community in the journey of these magazines and tabloids.
