Training CIES

CIES (Center for Islamic Economics Studies) is one of the LO in the activities of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Brawijaya Malang. As an LO that is engaged in the field of study and learning of Islamic economics, the scope of CIES activities is inseparable from the analysis and attitude of phenomena that occur in society, especially regarding the economy.

CIES, hereby will hold a Training CIES which is a continuation of Training CIES which aims to finalize previous training and advance the development of human resources.

The 2019 Training CIES took the theme “Urgency and Problems of Da’wah in the Sphere of Economics and Politics and Building Islamic Community through Amal Jamai”. Training CIES was held on 27-28 April 2019 and took place at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Brawijaya and Coban Talun.

The series of CIES 2019 Training events began with the presentation of materials by three presenters: Muhammad Ilham Lathief Makbul, Alfian Tanjung, and Ust. Sholahuddin Al-Fatih. This material briefing was intended to provide a further understanding of political economy, the urgency of da’wah, funding for the mall jama’i. Next, Training CIES participants were invited to go to the place to stay, each for the brothers is the Ash-Syuura Mosque on Jalan Kembang Kertas and Muhammadiyah 4 Middle School on Jalan Watugilang Gang III Blok D No.570 Malang.

On the second day we and the participants conducted an outbound tour at the Coban Talun tourist outbound area. Outbound activities are carried out with the aim of strengthening ukhuwah for fellow participants and fostering a sense of solidarity and cooperation. The series of Training CIES events ended at dhuhur time, April 28, 2019 and participants were repatriated by riding an angkot that had been rented before.
