Strengthening and soft skill formation in the field of entrepreneurship based on Islam is something that is important for a Muslim businessman, which manage a business it requires the ability to lead, organize, and good manage for business. Therefore they desperately need to develop their potentials and hone skills in business in accordance with Islamic law. Therefore, various forms of training and personal development should always be done continuously. So is the background to hold MEC program (Muslim Entrepreneur Club), with the program expected will form students particularly multiskill Muslim entrepreneurs who are ready and able to organize its business in conformity with Islamic law.
On May 22nd, 2016 Forstilling and CIES conducting MEC I in the Hall Building A Faculty of Economics and Business Brawijaya University. This event begins with the collection committee and continued with the briefing until 08.00 am. After that, continued with an open gate and the registration of participants, then the opening ceremony at 09.00 am. The first material is delivered by Ustad Anas Budiharjo namely lecturer at State Islamic University of Malang with the title of “Business and Entrepreneurship”. The first material that is moderated by Sumantri student of Management Faculty of Economics and Business, 2013. Next is a talk show entitled “How to Be Entrepreneur” delivered by Obi Chandra Kapisa (Young Entrepreneurs, Alumni of UB Faculty of Medicine) and Ali Akbar Rosyad (Owner Happy Sleepy, Students Faculty of Economics and Business 2014). Once the material is completed, followed by the closing ceremony at 02.00 pm.
On May 28, 2016, Forstilling and CIES implement MEC II began with a briefing the committee at 07.00 am. After that, we are opening gate and registration of participants is housed in the Main Building Gazebo Faculty of Economics and Business at 7:30 until 8:15 am. Furthermore, the chief executive of the rave reviews and was followed by the mobilization of participants to the bus. After that journey to The Bakpao Telo Lawang for 1 hour. Arrived at Bakpao Telo at 09.45 am and doing condition participants. In Bakpao Telo participants can shopping and see the products processed from Telo or yams. At 11:00 am, the participants in the mobilization to the bus to go to the location Warung Daun. At 11:10 am, and was arrived at the scene and do conditioning Warung Daun participants. Furthermore, there is a seminar conducted by the Bakpao Telo and field trips until 01:00 pm. After that, there was the break and continued with the closure of the event at 01:10 pm. Furthermore, mobilization of participants to the bus and travel to the UB. Finally, the group arrived on campus at 04.00 pm.
