The development of the world of work today shows the innovation of new business / organizational practices and demands the adaptation of knowledge and understanding in the world of education. Students are required to explore all forms of knowledge from both lectures and the world of work directly.
The sources of knowledge from the world of work can be the results of observations, discussions, and perceived practical experiences. The media used in the world of education can be in the form of field studies, company visits, and internship programs. Through these activities students are expected to be able to obtain an overview of real business / organization, managerial, and accounting practices so that they are able to complete their competence upon graduation.
The Student Association of the Accounting Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya (HMJA-FEBUB) seeks to realize the above goals through the activities of STUDY EXCURSIE 2019 in the form of visits to relevant companies and institutions. This activity is an annual routine program of HMJA FEB-UB in order to bring learning to the campus and the world of work closer.
The work program of STUDY EXCURSIE 2019 aims to compare the accounting knowledge learned in the world of lectures with its application in the world of work. Participants who participated in the STUDY EXCURSIE work program were S1 active students in the Accounting Department. This year STUDY EXCURSIE 2019 has the theme “Explore Our World to Create Our Future” which means that by better understanding the science of accounting in the world of work, so that it will be better prepared to face the world of work in the future. STUDY EXCURSIE 2019 will visit the cities of Surabaya, Jakarta, Bandung and Semarang. The company to be visited, namely the Supreme Audit Agency, Deloitte and RSM Public Accountants, Indonesia Stock Exchange, PT. Ultra Jaya, Customs, and Directorate General of Taxes.
This activity will be held on September 2 – 6, 2019 with total of 50 participants, consisting of 24 committees, 2 Steering Committees, and 24 other participants who are S1 active students in the Accounting Department. For other participants we do Open Registration.
