Training CIES (Center of Islamic Economics Studies) is a second level leadership training in CIES organizations organized by the HRD (Human Resources Development) Department of CIES. Training CIES is held two days, on 22-23 April 2017 on Saturday and Sunday and held at the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya for space training and in Batu for field training and attended by 58 participants from class of 2016 and two people from class of 2015, bringing a total of 60 participants. It is expected to spur motivation and spirit, and so that participants do not feel bored.

At this Training CIES will be introduced about organization. The first is the process of organizing the organizational structure in accordance with the goals of the organization, the resources it has, and the environment that surrounds it. Including the departmentalization is the grouping of work activities of an organization so that similar activities and interconnected can be done together. Second, the introduction of the division of labor is the detailing of job duties so that each individual in the organization is responsible for and implement a limited set of activities. This training will focus more on practice in following up the theory obtained in the previous Training.

In this year Training CIES raise up one theme which is “Increasing Self Potential for Generation of Independent Robbani Economists”. On April 22nd, 2017, three materials were presented. The first was filled by Ustadz Ubaidillah with the theme of “Urgency of Islamic Economic Da’wah and Its Challenge” where he explains the danger of capitalism in this global era then as the driving force of Islamic economy we must strive to immerse the Islamic economy so as not to be eroded by the dangers of capitalism. But the problem is in the human resources so in this session he said that the solution is with prayer, starting da’wah from small things (family and environment), doing da’wah in the real sector (become preachers and also entrepreneurs) and starting da’wah of Islamic economics from all fields. The second material contains about the explanation of Forum of Islamic Economic Studies (FOSSEI) which is a forum for Islamic Economic Study Group (KSEI) filled by Chairman of FOSSEI of Regional East Java, Taufiqurrahman. The last material about the leadership is filled by the former chairman of Student Executive (EM) Universitas Brawijaya 2016, Muhammad Zahid Abdurrahman. On the next day, ie, on April 23, 2017, all the participants conducted an outbound that aims to establish the ukhuwah among all members of CIES 2017.
