Berita Acara Asia Youth International MUN 2019

On the first day, Sunday, August 25, 2019, delegation teams from various countries arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) at 13.00 Malaysian time. I was escorted to the accommodation acronym and escorted back at 19.00 Malaysian time to the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) for the opening ceremony and MUN 101 which was a technical meeting on procedural Model United Nations.

On the second day, Monday, August 26, 2019, I departed from the inn to PICC and headed for the room where my council was. My Council was named UNEP ((United Nations Environmental Program) with the agenda of the discussion “Reducing the use of single-use plastics and the seventh plastic continent.” I got the allocation of the country of Cyprus. And for that day there were four sessions of the Committee Session which runs from 09.00 until 17:00 Malaysia time, the debates and discussions that day were relaxed but the language was very dynamic, I had several opportunities to speak and also to submit a motion, and in the last session we made a Working Paper which contained solutions from several countries.

On the third day, Tuesday, August 27, 2019, a follow-up Committee Session was held to discuss several Working Papers to become a Draft Resolution which ended the conclusion of a two-day series of debates and discussions. On this third day there are only three sessions and start at 09.00 until 15.00 Malaysian time. We returned to PICC at 19.30 to participate in the cultural show and the distribution of awards as the closing of AYIMUN 2019. The opening remarks of the closing ceremony were hosted by Miss Universe Indonesia 2019 and Pangeran Selangor Malaysia. In cultural shows several countries gave their performances. In the awards section, I haven’t been able to get a physical award but I can get verbal respect.
